A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the highest mountain on earth from the saddle of your bike along with many other beautiful mountain range.
This tour also offers awesome riding experience thru beautiful Nepali and Sherpa villages and meet the friendly Sherpa and Magar people living in the lower Solu Khumbu area. This 4 day tour takes you to the beautiful village of Okhaldunga, Patale, Phaplu and Taksindu villages with some awesome off-road experience. We round it up with a ride to one of Nepal’s sacred destinations called Halesi Maratika and witness the spectacular blend of Hinduism and Buddhism co-existing together inside a massive cave. Not to forget, the first and the last day ride follows Nepal’s two most beautiful rivers Sunkosi and Dudhkosi.

DETAIL TRIP ITINERARY
DAY 1: Kathmandu to Okhaldunga and to Patale. 240km.
Breakfast & tour briefing. Ride to Dhulikhel and to Mulkot. Lunch break. Continue to Harkapur from where our ascend starts thru beautiful scenic road guarded by beautiful rhododendron forests. Arrive at Patale, a small Sherpa and Magar village located at 3000m. Enjoy the first view of Mt. Everest and other smaller mountains like Numbur Himal. Check into a small cottage resort. BLD.
DAY 2: Ride to Taksindu (off-road) and back to Patale before sunset. Approx. 90km.
Breakfast. Ride to Taksindu on an exciting dirt trail. Beautiful Sherpa villages, terrace potato fields, spectacular mountain views are the highlights. Before dark we are back in Patale. BLD.
DAY 3: Ride to Maratika Monastery and Halesi Cave. 100km.
Leave Patale after breakfast. Ride back on the same via Okhaldunga to Harkapur. Lunch. Continue ride towards Halesi Maratika alongside the beautiful Dudh Kosi river (milky river) on a blacktopped but low traffic road. Maratika Monastery and Halesi cave are well known among Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims who come here to offer prayers and perform deep meditation. Overnight at Maratika Norling Hotel. Early evening we take a short walk and visit the massive Maratika cave and the monastery.
DAY 4: Ride back to Kathmandu via Khurkot and Dhulikhel. 224km.
Early morning take part in the prayer session with the monks of Maratika Monastery. Back to hotel for breakfast. Ride back to Kathmandu following the beautiful BP Highway built by Japanese engineers. Lunch stop at Mulkot's Quality Resort. Return back to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel. Celebration dinner.
INCLUDES: 500CC Royal Enfield bike or 411CC Himalayan with fuel for the entire trip. Tour guide, mechanic, spare parts. Support vehicle on request (extra charge). Hotel accommodation on twin share basis with all three meals.

OUR BIKES: We have 500CC Royal Enfield Classic or 411CC Himalayan.
NOTE: No need of international driving license as long as you have a valid driving license from your country. Riders must bring proper riding gears. Please obtain your travel and medical insurance from your own country that covers motorcycle ride.
