Everest Base Camp Trek or popularly known as EBC Trek in Nepal is one of the most dreamt treks for many adventure seekers throughout the world.
The trek allows you to soak in the most stunning close up views of some of the highest mountains such as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam and many other smaller peaks. A mixture of really well organized trails snaking through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests, some rare and endangered wild animals sightings, crystal clear flowing rivers and streams, spectacular Sherpa villages all make this trek a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

TREK ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Arrival in Kathmandu. Our representative will meet you and transfer you to hotel. Rest day. B&B Only.
DAY 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu.
Trek preparation. Full day sightseeing of Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Sightseeing tour and heritage entrance fees included. Back to hotel. B&B only.
DAY 3: Fly to Lukla. 2800m. Trek to Phakding.
Early morning flight to Lukla (Flights start from 6:00am till 11:00am. Flight time 25 minutes. Check out of Lukla Airport. A short walk to Lukla market. Breakfast at one of the Café’s. Lukla altitude is 2800m.
Trek to Phakding. 3-4 hours of easy trek through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. Phakding is 2600m, just a few hundred meters below Lukla. Check into one of the lodges. Lodges have attached bathroom. B/L/D.
DAY 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar. 3450m.
Trek to Namche Bazaar. 5 hours. Once again easy trek following the Dudh Kosi river passing thru beautiful pine and rhododendron forests till the most incredible Hillary bridge, a suspension bridge that hangs approx. 200 meters deep gorge. Popular places to take a break are Tok Tok, Benkar and Jorsale. The final climb to Namche takes about 1.5 hours. Arrive in Namche, check into one of the many finest hotels with attached bathroom. Namche altitude is 3450m. B/L/D.
DAY 5: Rest day at Namche for acclimatization.
Rest day at Namche. It is important to spend a day at Namche to acclimatize. The Namche Bazaar has a pleasant little market along with great hotels, restaurants, and Cafes. A leisurely walk to the monastery on the top of the Bazaar is enjoyable. Visit the National park information center at the monastery as well as the magnificent view of the entire Namche Bazaar. A short climb to the top of the hill opposite the monastery has a view point offering first view of the Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Amadablam mountains. On the right is the beautiful Kongde mountain. The Sherwi Khangba Museum and Sherpa Culture Center has an interesting collections of Everest Summiteers information along with Sherpa Culture Museum and a photo gallery. B/L/D.
DAY 6: Trek to the world famous Tengboche Monastery. 3860m.
Trek to the beautiful Tengboche Monastery. 5 hours. Once again quite an easy trek with the views of the Everest and Ama Dablam visible most of the time till we start our descent towards the Riverside. On the way a small view point with hotels and restaurants named Sanasa offers good place to take a break. A bakery shop offers choices of amazing bakery products. Tengboche Altitude 3860m.
The second part of trek after the Riverside hotel is a pretty steep climb all the way to the Tengboche monastery. Once we reach the monastery, you will instantly feel the spiritual power of the place. A very quiet and peaceful monastery sitting at such altitude where world famous expeditions offer their first prayer seeking blessings for their successful summit of the world’s tallest mountains. Check into our hotel. B/L/D.
DAY 7: Trek to Dingboche. 4400m.
Following the trail downhill through the rhododendron forest to Deboche, we cross another amazing suspension bridge over Imja river. A gradual climb takes us to the village of Pangboche offering spectacular views of the Ama Dablam mountain. Continue trek to Dingboche and enter the Imja Tse valley. 5 to 6 hours.
DAY 8: Rest day at Dingboche to acclimatize. Very important!
A complete rest day at Dingboche to acclimatize and get ready to push to 5000m the next day. Or take a leisurely walk around and enjoy the views.
DAY 9: Dongboche to Lubuche. 5050m.
Trek to Lobuche. This is the day we need to push a bit harder as we will be climbing to 5000 meters. But the hardword is rewarded with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. 5 - 6 hours.
DAY 10: Trek Lobuche to EBC 5360m and back to Gorakshep 5160m.
Trek to Gorakhshep and continue to EBC. Enjoy the views and trek back to Gorakshep. 7 hours.
DAY 11: Trek Gorakshep to Kalapathar 5644m and back to Pheriche 4380m.
Trek to Kalapathar. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Everest and other tallest mountains and trek back to Pheriche. 7 hours.
DAY 12: Trek Pheriche to Deboche.
Trek back to Deboche. 6 hours.
DAY 13: Trek Deboche to Khumjung.
Trek back to Khumjung. 6 hours.
DAY 14: Trek Khumjung to Namche.
Trek back to Namche. 4 hours.
DAY 15: Trek to Lukla.
Trek back to Lukla via Monjo and Phakding. 7 hours.
DAY 16: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Fly back in the morning to Kathmandu. Check back into our hotel. Done and dusted! Celebration dinner!
INCLUDES: Airport pickup and drop. Hotel in Kathmandu on B&B basis on twin share. Domestic flight to Lukla and back. Sightseeing around Kathmandu and entrance to Heritage sites. Hotel/Lodges during the trek with all three meals. Licensed trekking guide. Porter (1 per two trekkers during the trek). Porter and Guides insurance. National park entry tickets. Trekking permits. EXCLUDES: International air tickets, Nepal visa fee, lunch and dinner in Kathmandu except celebration dinner on Day 16. Bar bills, personal refreshment drinks and laundry. Mobile expenses, personal gadgets charging, etc. Hotshower after Namche is charged Rs. 500 per bucket. Personal trekking gears. Use of Wifi and phone calls unless they are free. Tips and gratitude to the porters and guide. Emergency rescue. Travel and medical insurance.
NOTE: Flight to Lukla often gets cancelled due to constantly changing weather conditions at Lukla. In such cases we arrange helicopter to Lukla. Costs extra. Same situation could apply on the way back from Lukla. Please be prepared for extra heli costs. One helicopter can accommodate 5 people along with the pilot.
